The car rental company, Silver Car, will be available in cities like Austin, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Orlando and Miami.
The car rentals service has been around since 2016.
“We want to be here in Austin, Houston and Dallas for a couple of months, to be in Dallas and Houston for a few months,” said the company’s co-founder and CEO, Rajesh Kulp.
“So, the idea is that we are not going to make money on a service like this.
We are not even making money on it, so why should we pay for it?”
The company has been operating in the US for the past four years.
Kulp is the grandson of former US President John F. Kennedy.
In the past, he worked at the Kennedy Library and the American Museum of Natural History in New York, and in the past he worked as a professor at Harvard University.
In 2017, he co-founded a new company called KulpCarRental, which is based in Austin.
The company is focused on bringing the services to the US.
“The US is a market where there is an enormous demand for car rental,” said Kulp, adding that the company hopes to make it easier for drivers to rent their cars.
The service will be based on the model of CarRentalHub, a popular US car rental platform.
“With CarRescue, you can book a car at any time, and we can connect drivers to the drivers, and they will have their car picked up, and it will be delivered,” said Srikanth Das, the CEO of Kulp CarRentals.
KulpCar Rental, like CarR Escue, will also offer the option to rent your car with the driver, so drivers can avoid the time of picking up their car and having to pick it up on the way home.
The price of the car rental service will range from $50 to $150 depending on the driver.
The company will be accepting applications for drivers for the service.
“If we don’t find the right person, we will find somebody else.
But we are also not going away,” said Das.
